  • Central European University has a page in which you can find comprehensive information and samples about different kinds of writing, including research papers, getting published, discipline-specific writing, literature reviews, using sources, position papers, proposals, reports, outlines, abstracts, and more.

Writing Centers and Writing Labs

  • International Writing Centers Association International Writing Centers Association (IWCA) is an NCTE affiliate founded in 1983 that fosters the development of writing center directors, tutors, and staff by sponsoring meetings, publications, and other professional activities; by encouraging scholarship connected to writing center-related fields; and by providing an international forum for writing center concerns.
  • The European Writing Centers Association (EWCA) is a Regional Affiliate of the International Writing Centers Association (IWCA). As EWCA was the first Regional Affiliate to be added outside of US borders, its formation and recognition contributed to the US-based National Writing Centers Association (NWCA) changing its name to IWCA and expanding its focus to foster writing center work across the globe. Hence, EWCA 's mission is to solicit engagement with institutions or individuals interested in the interactive and collaborative work of Writing Centers everywhere.
  • Praxis Writing Center Journal is a biannual electronic publication sponsored by the University of Texas Undergraduate Writing Center, a component of the Division of Rhetoric and Writing at the University of Texas at Austin. It is a forum for writing center practitioners everywhere.
  • The Dangling Modifier is an international newsletter by and for peer tutors in writing, produced in association with the NCPTW whose mission is to provide an international forum for ongoing conversation among peer tutors in writing.
  • The Writing Center Journal is an official publication of the International Writing Centers Association, which is an Affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English. WCJ is published twice a year, in the fall/winter and spring/summer.
  • The Writing Lab Newsletter is a forum for exchanging ideas and information about writing centers in high schools, colleges, and universities.
