Faculty perceptions and fears about working within the frame of participative educational environments and multicultural education
- sensitive topics may lead to chaos and loss of control
- language competency may be a problem in facilitating a participative classroom
- the curricula are already too full and there isn't time/space for more inclusive teaching strategies or content
- not knowing what multicultural education is or how to create such environments or opportunities
- already too many obligations and work; lack of interest
